At Gayatri School, our Admission Policy is designed to ensure a fair, transparent, and merit-based process for all applicants. We welcome students from diverse backgrounds who share our commitment to learning, values, and holistic development.
1. Policy Objectives
To provide equal opportunity for all applicants without discrimination.
To maintain clear guidelines for parents and students.
To ensure admissions are aligned with HBSE norms and school capacity.
2. Admission Criteria
Eligibility depends on the child’s age and previous class completed, in line with HBSE regulations.
Admission is open to Playschool, Kindergarten, and Classes 1–8 (subject to seat availability).
Priority is given to:
Children of Defence Personnel
Siblings of existing students
Students from rural and EWS categories (as per government norms)
3. Admission Process
Step 1: Registration
Parents must fill out the Registration Form (available at the school office or online).
A non-refundable registration fee is applicable.
Step 2: Submission of Documents
The following documents are required at the time of registration:
Birth Certificate (attested copy)
Previous school’s Transfer Certificate (for Classes 2 and above)
Previous year’s Report Card (if applicable)
Passport-size photographs of the child and parents
Address proof and any category-specific documents (for concessions)
Step 3: Interaction / Entrance Test
Playschool and KG admissions involve a parent-child interaction session.
For Classes 1 and above, students may need to appear for an age-appropriate assessment.
Step 4: Admission Confirmation
Admission is confirmed only after fee payment and submission of all required documents.
Parents receive an admission confirmation letter along with further orientation details.
4. Admission Fee & Concessions
A one-time admission fee is applicable as per the Fee Structure & Policy.
Eligible families can avail 50% concession on admission fees (for Defence Personnel, Single Mothers, Single Girl Children, Rural & EWS category, and Siblings).
5. Important Guidelines
Admissions are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to seat availability.
The school reserves the right to deny admission if guidelines are not met or documents are incomplete.
All information provided by parents must be true and verifiable.
6. Mid-Year Admissions
Admissions during the academic year may be considered only if seats are available.
Students transferring from other HBSE/ CBSE/ Other board schools must submit a TC and their latest academic records.
